Billboard Music Awards Recap

Taylor Swift (Yes, I'm giving her, her very own section)

Last night, was the night where all my favorite stars came out to play. The Billboard Music Awards kicked off in Vegas on Sunday night with the premiere of Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood" music video. Now, we all know that I was never a big fan of the Swift, but with every award show and every single that she puts out, my love for her is growing stronger. I know, it's like someone has taken over my body and is speaking for me. But yes, I have to admit that Taylow Swift is KILLING the game right now, and her video for "Bad Blood" and the amount of awards she racked up last night proved just that.

What I loved about the music video was that it was all about women supporting other women. I may be a male/boy/man, but I LOVE a good female artist and I LOVE when female artists support each other. I know, I'm weird, but things like this video really make me happy. The video features a slew of Taylor's best friends, from Selena Gomez, to Gigi Hadid, to Zendaya, to Cindy Crawford, to Jessica Alba, to basically every woman in Hollywood. It was honestly just perfection from start to finish, and Kendrick Lamar's feature on the track was the icing on the pop culture cake. Check it out:

Fashion

When it comes to last night's fashions, there were a few key outfits that stole the show. My best-dressed for the night had to be the one and only Jennifer Lopez.

The Charbel Zoe Couture gown was actually the sexiest thing that I think I've ever seen Jennifer in. People might say that her nude illusion gowns are played out, but THIS is what J to the L-O does best, and if she did anything else, we wouldn't be talking about her. Oh, and the fact that this body produced two children at the same time... GOD BLESS HUNTY!

Taylor Swift also looked STUNNING last night in her Balmain jumpsuit. I normally don't care for her fashions, because she usually plays it safe, but this look was so effortless and sexy that I had to give her some props.

Ugh, Zendaya! This girl never seizes to amaze me. She is such a trend setter and her look last night was so effortlessly cool that it looked like she just jumped out of bed and threw it on. Zendaya is so ahead of the times, and I just want to be her friend. That's all I ask.

Iggy Azalea's Face

If there is one thing that everyone was talking about last night, it's Iggy Azalea's face. I'm just going to leave this here:

She definitely did something to her nose, lips, and chin. I'm no doctor, but this is all pretty obvious and kind of unnecessary.

Performances

Now for my fave part, the performances from the show! Although most will probably disagree with me, I have to say that I loved Britney and Iggy's "Pretty Girls" performance. Yea, Britney may have mimed the entire song, but that's what Britney Spears does. I was just so proud of her because she hasn't done many TV performances since the 2007 VMAs fiasco, and her dancing was pretty on point. Most importantly, she looked happy and confident, which is something I haven't seen in a minute.

Nicki Minaj also performed last night and obviously slayed everyone that was watching. Check out her hot performance of the 'The Night Is Still Young" and "Hey Mama" below:

The only other performance that I was interested in was Nick Jonas' performance of "Jealous". This guy is the definition of cool and if I was Caucasian (lol), I would want to be him. Also, on Monday, Nick announced that he is going on a small tour this fall, so make sure you check out the dates below!
