A Little Catching Up...

I'm back! I haven't posted in over a month and I've missed my blog quite a bit. I have been so busy during the last 30 days with my sister moving out of my house (such a process), work becoming insane (hello holidays) and school coming to an end (thank the lort jesus)! But now, I'm back and want to fill you in on some of the things (mostly music) that I have been obsessing over!

1. For starters, Nicki Minaj is dropping her album The Pinkprint on December 15, and like most albums these days, it leaked early. Some major tracks on the album include "Get On Your Knees" featuring the BAE, Ariana Grande, and "Feeling Myself" featuring the Queen B, Beyoncé! Both tracks are literally insane and had me trying to get my life from start to finish. Idk if they're both going to be singles, but "GOYK" should definitely get the single treatment because it's literally a better version of "Black Widow" by Nicki's best friend, Iggy Azalea.

Oh and her video for "Only" featuring Drake, Lil Wayne and Chris Brown is PURE SEX and I love every minute of it!

2. Ariana Grande released a new music video for her Christmas single "Santa Tell Me." Do I need to say more? She's the entire universe and I die at everything she does.

3. Taylor Swift had a 25th birthday party and invited everyone but me. No like really though, Beyoncé, Jay Z and Justin Timberlake were all in attendance at the party that took place at Swift's NY apartment. I questioned this so much because like, since when are Bey and Taylor besties? Whatevs. I'm so down and done with the entire situation. Guess I won't be inviting her to my party next year...

4. In honor of the 1 year anniversary of her epic surprise album, Beyoncé released a short film for her fans called Yours and Mine, in which she talks about fame, marriage, and being a human. It's such an inspirational video and it makes me love Beyoncé so much more. She may be a queen on stage, but she's just like me, you, and everyone else in this world, which is good to know.
