Today, Britney Spears released the music video for her second single, "Perfume," off of her album "Britney Jean." The video was directed by Joseph Kahn, and shows a vulnerabe Britney hurting over her boyfriend, who is cheating on her with another woman. The video is simple, and beautiful, but many Britney fans, including myself, are quite upset that the original version wasn't released. According to Joseph Kahn, the original edit of the video features a scandalous ending, that most likely invovles Britney shooting someone, based on the behind the scenes pictures of her holding a gun that were released a few weeks ago. Although I love the video, it's definitely anticlimactic, and there seems to be no resolution to the problem, which kind of leaves you wanting more at the end of the video. Hopefully a director's cut will be released, but until then, check out the video below, and head over HERE to sign the director's cut petition!
