There are a couple of ladies that I can't stop listening to this week! Here they are:
1. "We Can't Stop" by Miley Cyrus
This week Miley Cyrus finally released new music for her fans who have been waiting for a single for months! Miley revealed the track name, "We Can't Stop," a few weeks back and when I first heard about it, I thought it was going to be a super upbeat song about partying. Well, when the track was released, I was quite shocked, as the song is sort of a laid back party song with a hip hop feel to it. I will admit that at first I didn't love the song, but now I am hooked! Although some of the lyrics are kind of cheesy, there are some like "dancing with molly" and "trying to get a line in the bathroom" that have me obsessed with Miley's new bad girl image! Check out the track below!
2. "Madhouse" by Little Mix
After attending their concert last week and buying their album, I have become obsessed with Little Mix's song "Madhouse!" The song has an eerie vibe to it that sort of reminds me of Nelly Furtado's "Maneater," but even better! The song is about escaping a madhouse, or psych ward, and it's just POP PERFECTION! I really hope they made a video for this song!
3. "People Like Us" by Kelly Clarkson
I love this song! Kelly Clarkson has yet again managed to get me hooked to a new song of hers! "People Like Us" is a really uplifting and upbeat track that will have you dancing all over your room, but at the same time has a meaningful message! The song is an anthem that is all about empowerment and celebrating those who are considered outcasts, or misfits! I really love this song, and I appreciate Kelly for always putting out great music that actually talks about something important, and not heading into the typical popstar direction! Check out the video below, it's such a cute one!!!!
There ya have it! Hope you've enjoyed my songs of the week! See ya next week with brand new songs!
